Fall over night

Last week we had a heat wave that ended over night. And this morning there was frost on the garage rooftop. I hope we still get some warmer days as summer winds down a fall shows up.

The garden is producing some tasty meals . And  some for canning.

I did get started on a fall themed quilt along. It's with the fat quarter shop on line.

Here are the first 2 weeks. Stars and leaves. I'm using fabrics I have on hand. They do offer a kit for this project as well. I believe it is a larger wall hanging quilt.

Next week we will get our Sit and Stitch going. We sew, knitting, crochet and more. Enjoying each other's company and talents.  We have time to chat more over lunch to, a good time for all.

And we will be having a fall market at the seniors center.  All the tables have been booked sew it should be a good day for everyone.

I can hardly believe it's been 4 months since I posted last. Time flys. I've taken classes ,had the Spirit of Manitou Studio Trail, time at the lake camping and fishing. Visiting family and a childhood friend.  I even found time to sew .... at least a little.I hope you all had a fun and busy summer to.

Take care.
